PGL Arlington Major 2022, Major terakhir di musim Dota Pro Circuit 2021/2022 akan menyediakan total hadiah sebesar US$500.000. Diadakan di Esports Stadium Arlington, fasilitas esports terbesar di Amerika Utara, pihak penyelenggara mengumumkan event ini bisa ditonton secara langsung.
Turnamen ini akan menjadi Major terakhir di musim DPC 2021/2022 dan merupakan kesempatan terakhir bagi tim profesional Dota 2 untuk mendapatkan poin DPC agar bisa lolos ke The International 11.
Terakhir kali turnamen Major digelar di Amerika Serikat terjadi delapan tahun silam, tepatnya saat Boston Major berlangsung di mana tim kuda hitam Ad Finem takluk oleh OG di partai grand final.
Format PGL Arlington Major 2022
Turnamen dibagi ke dalam dua tahap, Penyisihan Grup dan Playoff. Babak penyisihan membagi peserta jadi dua grug, semua pertandingan menerapkan format Bo2. Empat tim teratas berhak melaju ke Upper Bracket Playoff, peringkat lima dan enam ke Lower Bracket, dan sisanya tersingkir.
Sedangkan babak Playoff bakal menerapkan format Bo3, kecuali laga final yang menggunakan format Bo5.
